Fionnuala Gill holds an honours degree in Psychology from Trinity College, Dublin and has completed a Level One professional training with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, USA.
Having had a personal meditation practice for over 20 years and experienced in her own life the profound benefits of mindfulness practice, she completed her mindfulness teacher training with the Institute for Mindfulness-Based Approaches (IMA, Germany) in 2010 and now works with adults and young people throughout Ireland in many different settings.
She is a facilitator of the .b Mindfulness in Schools Programme and also works for The Sanctuary, a mindfulness/meditation centre created by Sister Stan in Dublin.
Fionnuala has also offered mindfulness trainings to many organisations such as the Rape Crisis Centre, Crime Victims Helpline and The Oasis Centre. She has worked as a professional musician (singer and harper) for many years and is a qualified yoga teacher. Fionnuala adheres to the Good Practice Guidelines set out by the UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers, thus receiving regular supervision while teaching and attending retreats and further mindfulness trainings each year.
