Gemma Anslow is a registered Counseling Psychologist, Gemma has 16 years of therapeutic experience. She developed a personal mindfulness practice when training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in 2005-6.
She subsequently trained as a teacher of MBSR/MBCT with Bangor University and has facilitated 8-week courses to women and men in custody, fellow psychologists and other adults since 2010.
She adheres to the Good practice Guidelines (UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers) such as daily personal practice, working with a trained Mindfulness Supervisor and attendance at regular Mindfulness trainings and residential retreats.
Her special interests include Mindfulness in prisons and Mindfulness and mental health
She has worked as a psychologist in prisons for 12 years.
