    Clíona works as a Psychotherapist and Mindfulness facilitator. She teaches Mindfulness to individuals and groups, through 8-week courses, introductory groups and workshops.

    Having practiced meditation since 2003 Clíona has a strong interest in the links between Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, including that of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and its application to working with depression, anxiety and stress.

    She is accredited as a Psychotherapist in Systemic/Family Therapy with the Family Therapy Association of Ireland (FTAI) and the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP) and is currently completing a Masters degree in Mindfulness-Based Approaches at the University of Bangor, Wales, since 2006. Clíona has also attended training and retreats on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with internationally renowned mindfulness/meditation teachers Jon Kabat-Zinn, Saki Santorelli, John Teasdale and Christina Feldman and continues to attend retreats and training on a regular basis.
