Times: 7.00-9.30pm
Cost: €350, which includes all classes, an initial orientation, CDs and workbook to support your practice. (Josephine donates 5% of her income from mindfulness courses to the “thought on a thread” project. For more information on this project, see below.)
This 8 week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy Course for Stress & Low Mood was developed by Professors Mark Williams, Zindel Segal and John Teasdale. They adapted the original Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre in 1979. Both of these courses have a strong evidence base for assisting participants in managing stress, low mood, depression, anxiety.

Josephine is donating 5% of her income from her Mindfulness-Based courses to “thought on a thread,” a mindfulness project offering support to communities in South Africa affected by HIV/Aids. (www.thoughtonathread.co.uk)
“thought on a thread” has been set up to:
- facilitate connection between those who have HIV/Aids and those who want to offer their support
- share simple mindfulness practices with people with HIV/Aids and those offering their support
- send funds to community support HIV/Aids projects like Woza Moya
