Course Information

Befriending Intention With Emma Philbin Bowman Online via Teachable

Intention is a beautiful capacity, available to us all.

Psychotherapist and group facilitator Emma Philbin Bowman created this course to support us refining our relation to Intention. Through brief video teachings, inquiry reflections and guided meditations, Befriending Intention* offers an accessible, textured pathway to this precious ally.

This course looks at themes such as the value of daily intentions, including self-care, repairing damage to the will, and drawing on ‘source motivation,’ enabling participants develop a fresh, personally attuned connection with this capacity.

About Emma Philbin Bowman

Emma works as a psychotherapist, writer, lecturer and group facilitator. She holds a first-class honours degree in Philosophy and English Literature from UCD, and later trained at the Institute for Creative Counselling in Dunlaoghaire as an Integrative Psychotherapist. Her approach is informed by immersion in Buddhist, Advaita and contemporary spiritual traditions since her early twenties, and by a life-long treasuring of integration and embodiment. Emma has taught for many years on the Mindfulness MSc in UCD and at the Mindfulness Centre Teacher Training. In recent years, she has studied extensively with Thomas Hubl, Stephen Busby and the Diamond Approach Scandinavia. She is particularly passionate about the emerging potential of We-Space work and is committed to creating rich practice spaces of depth, emergence and growth.
