Ceithre seachtain (4-week introductory mindfulness)
Dataí: an 8ú,15ú, 22ú & 29ú mí Márta, Dé Domhnaigh 10rn go11in
Dates: 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th March on Sundays 10am to 11am
Dia daoibh a chairde,
Fáilte chuig an cúrsa gairid seo. This course is designed for those who have a basic to intermediate understanding of Irish and have an interest in learning bunscileanna machnaimh trí Gaeilge (basic skills in meditation). The course will be delivered in Irish and in English. It runs over four Sunday mornings and is aimed at people who have a love of Irish but aren't necessarily fluent in the language.
At the beginning of the first two sessions, attendees will be taught some basic foclóir (vocabulary) which may be useful in sessions. The practices themselves will be guided as Gaeilge but any discussion / enquiry will be through English (or maybe if we feel brave, as Gaeilge).
Core practices taught as Gaeilge will include: scanadh coirp (body scan), gluaiseacht aireachais (mindful movement), cleachtas suite (sitting practice).
Seolfar taifeadtaí chuig na freastalaithe idir seisiúin (Core practice recordings will be sent to attendees between sessions).
Please note: the facilitator is not a gaeilgeoir by any stretch but has a love of the Irish language. Tabharfaimid intinn thosaitheora, neamh breithiúnas (beginner’s mind) agus ‘comhbhá’ (compassion) chig ár seisiúin le chéile.
Slán agus Beannacht.
