Elma is a certified mindfulness teacher who has completed the UCD Masters program in Mindfulness Based Interventions and further training in the Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
Her commercial experience extends to more than 20 years in a range of multinational companies including Kerry Group, ICI, Motorola and Vodafone where she held a range of senior management roles within various areas of marketing. Her interest in communication and creativity then led her to photography with over 12 years experience in this area working for a range of commercial and private clients and a love of capturing people and moments.
With a keen interest in mindfulness for over fifteen years she has found it to be an invaluable and empowering tool in building resilience and managing stress. Elma believes mindfulness training has so much to offer people in both their professional and personal lives and is passionate about working collaboratively with teams.
She delivers mindfulness and photography training through the Dublin ETB and also regularly runs a range of her own classes for the general public. She has facilitated workshops, courses and drop in sessions for companies in a variety of business sectors including communications, manufacturing, retail and food production.
Currently a Director of the Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland she is committed to developing the organization to support best practice mindfulness teaching. A passionate supporter of youth mental health she aslo volunteers her services through education and sport.
